Opa, transcrevo aqui o post de uma amiga (ela é da guilda, a Kaks) que está com problema no Wow com o novo patch:

Pessoas, ontem fui tentar jogar WoW e baixou um novo patch.
Agora eu tento logar e aparece uma mensagem de erro dizendo assim: "Unable to validate game version" e que algum arquivo corrompeu, ou está dando
conflito com algum outro programa.
Aí eu desinstalei e instalei td novamente, inclusive deixei baixando o patch novamente, e o problema persiste.
Alguém já passou por isso?

Eu verifiquei no support da Blizzar que pode ser várias coisas, dentre elas virus, deixei rodando anti-virus lá em casa pra ver se pega algo.
Se alguém tiver outra dica....

Tava lendo nos forums oficiais que tem muito gringo com o mesmo problema, me diz ai qual e o windows dela.

If you had trojans on your PC, note that they may change a few bits and bytes of the game's executable. If it doesn't match the checksum, the server won't let you get thru. Run the Repair utility after removing the trojans and it should fix WoW.exe

Some players have been able to clean their system of some trojans known to cause this error with a program called Fix Wareout, which is available here:

You can try logging onto a different user in Windows, and then try starting up World of Warcraft again.

You can also start World of Warcraft as a different user through these steps:

Right click on the World of Warcraft shortcut.
Select "Run As..."
Click on "The following user:"
Select a different user (like Administrator or Compaq User).
Type in a password if necessary.
Click Ok.

If you don't have a different User Account, you can create one through Control Panel, and then User Accounts. Please put the newly created User Account into the Administrators group.

If that doesn't work, you will unfortunately have to reinstall World of Warcraft.

Please try to go through each of these steps, as these will address the cause of this error:

Olá pessoas!

Então, rodei o anti-virus em casa, e não pegou nada. Usei o Avast, alguém sugere outro?

ReiserFS, meu windows é o XP.

Bedor, estava utilizando normalmente na segunda-feira, ontem apareceu esse novo patch que causou todo esse rolo. Desinstalei e instalei tudo novamente e o problema continua.

Tenta usar esse Fix Wareout que o Blue Post falou... Não é uma boa, não?

Uma vez eu tive esse problema e foi vírus... Até formatando não adiantava, aí o Curandeiro me passou um anti-virus indicado por um blue poster e deu certo, achou vírus mesmo com o PC recém formatado.

O único erro bizarro que tive no WoW até agora foi quando instalei no micro de casa, que tem Vista. Resolvi clicando com o botão direito e dizendo "rodar como administrador" na hora de instalar o patch. Detalhe: EU sou a administradora. Mesmo assim, a gente precisa pegar o Hasta La Vista pela mão, desenhar, explicar como se tivesse 5 anos...

Ah, e na mensagem do jogo tá dizendo algo sobre apagar a pasta WTF pro patch funcionar. Já tentou?

Agora fiquei com mais raiva ainda dos spammers. Os FDP roubam conta dos outros pra spammar. Tá loco cara, deviam queimar esses caras em brasa quente, não é nem em fogo, é em brasa mesmo pra morrer devagar e cozinhando, igual aquele filme Silent Hill.

Nossa, tenho muita raiva disso.

Kaks, espero que você resolva essa situação, o Ralfus também passou por isso um ano atrás. A melhor forma é fazer o que o Reiser falou, conversa com os caras por e-mail e se possível já deixa seu CD-Key que você comprou separado porque ajuda a provar que a conta é sua e que foi roubada.
