O sistema de spells do Death Knight vai ser bem diferente dos sistema atuais (Mana, Energy e Rage). O DK possui 6 rune slots, que são preenchidos por três tipos de runas, Blood



Runic Power é uma barra nova do DK, a cada vez que uma habilidade que use Runas for utilizada o DK vai gerar 10 Runic power (RP). O runic power é usado em certas habilidades. Essa barra não é igual ao Rage do warrior (apesar de começar zerada) ela é mais como Combo Points, você vai usando skills de runas e vai enchendo ela e ai usa skills que usem RP. Existem talentos que aumentam a geração de RP.
