This was an unexpected feature which will show its full potential in later Chronicle expansions. The complexities surrounding this system meant that the reviewer had hard time comprehending what this is all about... so let me give you a short version.
[ Stabbing Dwarf ?? ]
A level 75 character can now choose to become a Sub-Class, which means your level 75 character changes into a level 40 skilled character of completely different class. Your 75 Scavenger could become an Abyss Walker, or perhaps your Silver Ranger into a Dark Avenger. Your new class' skill will start off from level 40, and although thankfully that means no redoing of Class Transfer quests, you still have to level up from 40-75 all over again.
What does this mean? It means characters like the one shown above this writing is now possible! Dwarves Mortal-Blowing, Swordsingers double-shotting with bows, Dark Avengers with Spoil... the freaky nature will certainly throw your preconceptions off and perhaps make your character somewhat unique to anyone else's!
Now, once you become a Sub-class, you do lose your original level 75's stats and skills. Before you vent your anger and ponder at the stupidity of such idea, let me give you a hot info leaked into L2 boards in Korea...
It is rumoured that in Chronicle 4, a Hero System will be introduced, where for characters that initially achieved level 75 and as well as Sub-class level 75 can become a Hero - a class that may have both the classes' skills!
Now THAT is something worthwhile.
Oh, as expected, certain classes aren't allowed to be chosen as a Sub-class (such as Warsmiths, Overlords) and there are class limitations to what your original character can become (dagger-types cannot sub-class to another dagger-types, elves and dark elves cannot choose each other's classes, etc). Such limitation and balancing only further strengthens the possible introducion of Hero System in the near future.
EDIT: Recent Korean Dev Q&A confirmed the introduction of Hero System in future Chronicles.
Vc um Dark Avenger chegou no 75 e pode escolher uma sub classe (não eh obrigatorio) ai escolhe SCAVENGER (isso MESMO SPOIL C00L) ai volta pro LVL 40 pra subir como scav e por ai vai.
tão prevendo pro C4 tem HERO CLASS, creio q ser o xupa cabra do cranco.
3.4 Combative will Point (CP) System
You may have seen this in certain other games. Combative will Point system is basically a shield-bar which obsorbs PvP-only damage, and can be instantly replenished by using Combative Will Potion.

With no surprise, Rogue classes will have harder time killing off players fast in PvP, and it looks like CP System is being introduced to reduce the effectiveness of ganking by solo Chao-characters, as well as lowering the amount of deaths incured during Castle Sieges.
Although this is a disputable system, with proper balancing, PvP warfare may move a step closer to what the Developers initially envisioned, without random griefing ruining normal gameplay. Only further testing will tell...
